Nonlinear dynamical behavior of a two-stage hybrid vibration isolation system

To analyze comprehensively the characteristics of ship isolation system, a dynamical model of the hybrid vibration isolator with air spring and giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) as its core elements was established, a nonlinear model of the ship machine' isolation system using the hybrid vibration isolator was set up, in which the base was considered as a non-rigid body. The effect of the air spring's nonlinear parameters on the system's performance and the relationship between the excitation current and the isolation effect were studied numerically, and some practically valuable conclusions were put forward.
