Recent research and developing trends of reconfigurable antennas

As a anew concept antennas,reconfigurable antennas have more advantages and better prospect compared with conventional antennas.They are lighter in weight,smaller in dimension and beneficial to the diversity.In this paper,the development background of reconfigurable antennas is presented.And the latest researches are analyzed and summarized to present the function,implementation,circuit design features of reconfigurable antennas.The implementation of reconfigurable antennas and the circuit design features are specifically illustrated and exemplified,while the classifications and summaries are presented in various respects.The trend of reconfigurable antennas' development is given at the end of the paper.
