With the monitoring data of expansion joint displacement of Nanxi Yangtze River Bridge in 120 days,the service performance evaluation for the bridge expansion joints is presented.First,the probability statistical analysis method for the expansion joint displacement is proposed,on the basis of probability distribution models of longitudinal displacement by Gauss mixture distribution model.Then,the maximum value and the minimum value of displacement expansion joint during service life are estimated by General Extreme Value.At last,the running performance of displacement expansion is evaluated.The results reveal that:1The displacement expansion joint of Nanxi Yangtze River Bridge has negative correlation with the temperature.2The expansion joint displacement of Nanxi Yangtze River Bridge can be described by the probability distribution through the Gaussian mixture distribution model.3The extreme displacement value with the action of annual variation of temperature is greatly less than the designed displacement,which indicates that the operational requirement of expansion joint can satisfy the design requirement.
