Stability analysis of second-order direct-form digital filters with two roundoff quantizers

The global asymptotic stability of a second-order direct-form digital filter with two roundoff quantizers is investigated. The stability region in the parameter plane is determined by analyzing exhaustively the zero-input transient behavior of the filter.
