Psychometric Analysis of Scores on the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) with a University Sample

Abstract This study explored the psychometric characteristics of the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) on a sample of 414 university undergraduate students (M age = 19.07, SD = 0.95). Internal consistency (α = .83), external divergent validity, and internal structural validity were adequate; the 2-factor model provided the best fit to the data.
