A Space-Time Blind RAKE Receiver

Multiuser detection and array antenna are two key techniques reducing the effect of multiple access interference(MAI) in DS CDMA. Space time processing which combines these two methods can improve the performance and capacity of the system greatly. In this paper,a novel space time blind RAKE receiver is proposed. With numerical simulations and performance analysis, it is shown that the receiver precedes the conventional space time 2 dimensional RAKE receiver in eliminating MAI and resisting multipath and "near far" effects. Furthermore,the adaptive version of the receiver can converge rapidly.\;
