Simulation of Driver Drowsiness Detection Technique

Road accidents are most commonly caused due to the fatigue and drowsiness of drivers. In this report, we have discussed a method for detecting driver drowsiness and subsequently alerting them. The main objective is to reduce the number of accidents caused due to drivers fatigue and hence increase the road safety. Some special body and face gestures that are used as sign of driver fatigue, include yawning and eye movement, which indicate that the driver is not in a proper driving condition. We present a robust and intelligent scheme for driver drowsiness detection without using complex algorithms and which can be practically implemented giving good accurate results.
