Modeling the microgrid based on the Russky Island power network

The paper presents a model of the campus micro-grid of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) located on Russky Island. This microgrid is connected to the Island power system as well. The resulting network is unique as it can operate either in parallel with the mainland energy system or it can be completely isolated. In this paper we consider islanding of Russky Island power system and study the influence of the campus microgrid on system stability. This mathematical model was developed using MATLAB and Simulink as main tools.
