A word line driving circuit and a semiconductor device using the same are provided to prevent the influence of a ground voltage connected to the other circuit, by applying a ground voltage of the word line driving circuit separately from a ground voltage of the other circuit. A second pad is separated from a first pad receiving a first ground voltage, and receives a second ground voltage. A word line driving part receives the second ground voltage, and drives a word line. The word line driving part generates a first word line signal enabling a main word line and a second word line signal enabling a sub word line. The word line driving part includes a first driver(23) and a second driver(25). The first driver generates the first word line signal and a word line selection signal to select a word line to be enabled, according to an address decoding signal. The second driver generates the second word line signal by receiving the word line selection signal.
