The system of instant access to the life biomedical data

Digital records bring generally a solution how to reduce amount of stored paper-based records but spread of digital devices in the last decade brings to medicine another huge amount of digital information stored only in different formats on different places. The aim of this study is to outline real medical data environment in the Czech Republic and it is focused on University in Hradec Kralove. The study describes some main general issues and possible solutions. Usually the data are collected for each single person or population in separated datastores of practitioners and hospital information systems. These data should be linked up and shared for many purposes among specialists as well as scientists.
