워크 샘플링 기법을 활용한 작업 효율 향상에 관한 연구

Construction industry has been characterized by low productivity improvement compared with other industries such as manufacturing. Recently many of sophisticated technologies have been developed and applied to the industry in order to resolve this problem. However, considering the importance of human labor in the construction work, enhancing work efficiency by reforming work methods, work procedure or crew balance must be one of the best approaches to improve construction productivity.This study is to suggest very simple but useful ways to improve work efficiency using work sampling technique and work improvement methods. Work sampling technique has been proved not only as a very effective tool for work efficiency or productivity measurement but also a powerful and applicable tool for efficiency or productivity improvement when used with systematic and analytical work improvement methods. A case study was performed to verify the result of the technique and the methods suggested.
