Advertisement releasing system and method

The invention relates to an advertising system, comprising an advertisement request module, an advertisement server and an advertisement basic information packaging module which are positioned in a web server module. The advertisement server is connected with the advertisement request module to receive an advertisement application request from the advertisement request module, thus returning the corresponding advertisement basic information to the advertisement basic information packaging module according to the request. The advertisement basic information packaging module is used for packaging the advertisement basic information from the advertisement server as a page advertisement according to a pattern of a page advertisement region which is stored in the web server module, and the page advertisement is published to the web page advertisement region. The invention further relates to an advertising method based on the system. As the invention provides the advertisement basic information rather than the advertisement in the form of page, the web server module and a middle server module can flexibly organize the page display form of the advertisement.
