DYNAMIC USER-EQUILIBRIUM PROPERTIES OF FIXED POINTS IN ITERATIVE ROUTING/ ASSIGNMENT METHODS

In this paper, assignment mappings and routing mappings are studied in relation to user-equilibrium routings and travel times. Routing/ assignment mapping is performed to investigate existence of user- equilibrium solutions through fixed-point theory. The effects of modelling in discrete or continuous time and with all-or-nothing or multipath routing are considered.
