A quantitative analysis of WWW, hypertext and JCDL conferences in the last decade

Using the database of articles available in the Odysci Academic Search Engine, we generated statistics and metrics for three conferences of interest to the SIGWEB community, namely WWW, Hypertext & Hypermedia and JCDL, for the last decade. We also computed the PageRank metric for all papers in these three conferences in the last decade and plotted their variation with the publication year. The graphs presented here are indicative of the variations of the quality of these conferences over the years, and how they compare in numbers. However, these graphs are not supposed to be interpreted as absolute quality measures. Difference in range of topics and target audience in these conferences make direct comparisons less meaningful. Still the evolution of the metrics do indicate trends in each conference's quality that may be used to help plan future conferences.
