A Note on the Existence of Strong Kirkman Cubes

A strong Kirkman cube SKC 3 ( ν ) exists if there exists 3 mutually orthogonal resolutions of a ( ν , 3, 1)-BIBD. It was not known whether such designs exist. The purpose of this article is to prove that, at least for some values of ν , these designs can be constructed.
