Multisystem microstrip antenna

In the paper the designed, made and tested multisystem microstrip antenna for the cellular telephony has been presented. The task of the designed structure was to operate within the defined frequency bands with retaining geometric and electric parameters at the defined level. Particular attention was paid to small dimensions of the antenna and because of them it will be possible to integrate of it with electronic equipment. Moreover, the structure of the antenna was designed in such a way that its antenna pattern will be characterized in part by radiation attenuated to the direction of the user head. It has the fundamental effect to the user security. Terminals equipped with the antenna designed can operate in four bands simultaneously, and thanks to it a customer, depending on the needs, will be able to use a given frequency. The results of the experimental-measurement tests done confirm the possibility to design antennas of irregular radiating patches (supplied by microstrip line with the input impedance 50 Ω), which for sure can be the interesting alternative for antennas of inverted F or miniature monopole generally used today.
