Microwave spectra and molecular structure of gauche-ethanethiol.

Microwave spectra of gauche-ethanethiol were studied in relation to its molecular structure. The rs structure of this molecule could be determined and was compared with that of trans isomer. Discussions were made on the angles around the carbon atom of the CH2 group in the molecule.
