An Analysis of Polyphase Directional Relay Torques [includes discussion]

AN ANALYSIS OF single-phase directional relay behavior has been made in an article entitled “A Study of Directional Element Connections for Phase Relays.”1 The scope of that article is extended here to an investigation of the 3-phase directional relay.
