Embedded Multi-Physiological Parameter Collecting and Displaying System Based on Windows CE

An embedded multi-physiological parameter collecting and real-time displaying system which is based on WinCE is designed and implemented in this paper. CAN bus was used to transfer physiological parameter signal. Alarm speaker which connected to the ARM9 processor S3C2440 was used to achieve the alarm function. Considering the huge data quantity and the high timeliness requirement, GUI used multi-threads technology and the custom message method to improve real-time property and the execution efficiency of the program. For the following functional development, the project was programmed on the object-oriented theory and a CCommand class was encoded to send commands to OEM physiological-parameter acquisition board. Experimental results showed that the system had a strong real-time performance and stability, could achieve desired monitoring functions.
