Monitoring of Mechanical Faults Using Wavelet Transform and Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) in Induction Machine

The growing use of induction machines (IM) has gained large importance over the last decades and is being widely used aselectromechanical system device according to their robustness, reliability, and simple design technologies. This work presents areliable method for monitoring and detection of mechanical faults in the rotor of induction machine. The detection of faults isbased on monitoring the stator currants signal analysis of the motor. Also the calculation of the relative energy value for eachlevel of signal decomposition using packet wavelet, which will be useful as data input of the adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy inferencesystem to make decisions about the machine state
