Switching stabilization for ball-and-beam system

This paper studies the stabilization of the ball-and beam system by using switching control and state feedback. A numerical example is shown to illustrate an error in the results of paper (M. Guoliang et al., 2004). The reason causing such error is analyzed and the corresponding corrections are provided. The step of designing switching control strategy is presented.
