Apparatus and method for discovering a closed subscirber group terminal in a femto cell

PURPOSE: A method and device for finding a CSG terminal at a femto cell are provided to transmit an CSG ID among a network entry to a macro base station. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(720) receives a ranging request message including CSG ID information from a terminal attempting a network entry. A transmitter(710) transmits identification information of the terminal to a femto cell to monitor an uplink signaling of a CSG terminal which the femto cell is included in an overlay macro base station. A controller selects at least one femto cell which is connectable for the CSG terminal base don CSG ID information from the terminal. The controller controls the transmitter to transmit the identification information of the terminal to the selected femto cell.
