Relevant Issues in Discrete Multicriteria Decision Support Systems

Discrete Multicriteria Decision Support Systems have reached an appreciable state of maturity. However, they are not exempt from insufficiently explored theoretical aspects and incompletely developed features. This work offers a deliberately brief and definitely personal reflection on these matters. The area is successively examined from three points of view: theoretical, utilization and diffusion issues. The article raises several ideas for further improvement.
