일반 및 고속철도용 무선기반 열차제어시스템(KTCS) 실용화

This paper introduce LTE-R based Korean Train Control System(below ‘KTCS’). Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT) started R&D project in December 2014. Korea Rail Network Authority(below ‘KR’) was selected Leader of Research group. KTCS is aim to use Train Control for conventional(Freight) Railway and High speed railway. KTCS is equal to ETCS Level 2 and it will be provided Technical Specification Interoperability (TSI). KTCS will be tested over 350km/h speed in Honam High speed line Test bed(Ik san-Jeong eup 28km). This project is first in the world. In December 2017 we open new era of Korean railway signaling system.
