This paper presents an efficient RFID service framework for supporting semantic consistency. The chief objective of our proposal is to let RFID applications exchange and share information about objects consistently and independently on various application fields (companies/ systems). EPC network can be used for building the RFID service framework. It provides a programmatic environment for RFID applications exchange and share information. However, the EPC network has a problem that it requires a high cost of mapping among vocabularies defined in systems for semantic interoperability. This paper first describes problems of PML (Physical Markup Language) core messages, and presents our proposal model. Also an experiment and evaluation are shown. Finally, comparative evaluation is described to clearly show contribution of our proposal.
