Ecoulement monophasique en milieu poreux: effet des hétérogénéités locales

Single phase flow in porous media can be described accurately by Darcy's law and the permeability tensor that appears in that relation can be determined theoretically by the solution of a closure problem. When significant heterogeneities exist, the closure problem becomes extremely complex and an alternate route to the determination of the permeability tensor becomes desirable. The method of large scale averaging leads to a closure problem that can be used to predict a permeability tensor which includes the effects of local heterogeneities. This is referred to as the large scale permeability tensor, and numerical results are given for a porous medium that consists of two, homogeneous, anisotropic porous media Le tenseur de permeabilite qui apparait dans la loi de Darcy peut etre determine theoriquement par la solution d'un probleme de fermeture; en presence d'heterogeneite celui-ci peut etre extremement complexe. La methode de prise de moyenne a grande echelle conduit a un probleme de fermeture qui peut etre utilise pour calculer un tenseur de permeabilite incluant les effets des heterogeneites locales
