A Modified Analytical Model to Calculate Temperature Distribution of Gas Turbine Blade and the Cooling Air Required

The modern gas turbine's cooling technology is very complex.Based on the principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer, this paper brought up a modified analytical model that considered the film cooling and thermal barrier coating(TBC),which aimed at the shortcomings of the traditional computational models of calculating the cooling flow required for turbine blades. This model can calculate the cooling air required for blades, and the temperature distribution of the blade surfaces.By dealing with the blade internal cooling parameters, the model can be realized and acquire reasonable results. This model can not only be used for real-time monitoring of gas turbine blade temperature and can also be used to assist in gas turbine design, the performance analysis, and cooling flow's distribution control.
