Predicting cardiac resynchronization response by QRS duration: the long and short of it.

As its name implies, cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) attempts to restore contractile coordination in hearts burdened by wall motion dyssynchrony due to conduction delay. This is achieved by stimulating the region of the ventricle with the most delayed mechanical activation so it can contract
