There are many obvious advantages of the multiple-mode seeker in rocket projectile. Based on the analysis of the working process of multi-mode seeker, several target detection methods were designed, taking into account both the applicability and the execution efficiency of the seeker. The target identification strategy with multi-template concurrent match and the target tracking strategy with adaptive template update were proposed. It is believed that the terminal guidance strategy of multi-mode seeker can meet the requirements of rapid and reliable target identification and track.
