ON THE ASYMPTOTICS OF THE RATIO OF ORTHOGONAL POLYNOMIALS AND CONVERGENCE OF MULTIPOINT PADÉ APPROXIMANTS

A theorem is proved on the asymptotics of the ratio of polynomials orthogonal with respect to varying weights (that depend on the degree of the polynomial).Bibliography: 10 titles.
