Green BIM 가이드라인 개발을 위한 모델링 수준(Level of Development) 설정에 관한 연구

Each of domestic and foreign organizations and academic circles is trying to develop BIM guidelines to establish and manage an efficient construction environment. According to this tendency, Korean government is also making much effort into development of BIM guidelines, however has difficulties in establishing efficient guidelines due to discordance between the existing design process and BIM-based integrated design process. Besides, there is still a lack of definite roles of guidelines, since modeling, phased levels of performance and levels of modeling details are at the initial stage of development, although several organizations have developed BIM guidelines. Especially, there is a discordance between the performance evaluation such as energy simulation and the design process. Also there arise problems in interoperability or setting an modeling level. A BIM modeling-based guideline should be established in order to solve these problems. Therefore, this study aims to improve the weak points in BIM guidelines and suggest requirements needed in development of ‘Green BIM Guidelines’ for energy performance evaluation. Finally, it also proposed how to apply and use LOD for analysis of energy performance, and directions for ‘development of modeling guidelines for analysis of energy performance’. This study will help prevent confusion, decrease unnecessary works and settle the discordance between the existing guideline and the design process, by defining the range of duties and the level of modeling at each stage through LOD. Moreover, it will make a contribution to application of BIM-based integrated design process and establishment of BIM-based construction environment.
