The research develops the vehicle being used to measure the friction coefficients of airstrip. The measuring system is mainly composed of machinery system and electrical equipment system. Among them, the machinery system accomplishes the actions such as the speed's transferring, the measuring wheel's lift and falling and watering, etc. And the electrical equipment system is composed of PLC as a slave, and IPC (Industrial Personal Computer) as a host. Among which PLC is responsible for receiving the IPC's instruction and controlling the hydraulic pressure system and the watering system according to the instruction, at the same time sampling the sensor's data so as to upload to IPC. And the IPC is responsible for dispatching instruction and receiving the data from PLC, meanwhile handling the data such as wave filtering, display, memory and printing. The experiment proves that the measuring system is safe and reliable, the operation is simple and convenient, the accuracy and repeatability of data is fine, and it is able to accomplish the measuring mission automatically and continuously.
