In this paper an integral controller is present for load frequency control of an interconnected power system. The integral controller is a classical controller [3] used for load frequency control to satisfy the hyperstability condition for taking care of the parameter changes of the system. The controller possesses an attractive merit of being easy to implement and a load shedding scheme can be incorporated for case studies. The simulation results show that good control performance can be obtained by the integral controller.
