The tin bronze alloy coating was formed by HVOF spraying method on Q235 steel. The friction and wear properties of tin bronze alloy coating were tested under different conditions. The wear morphology and wear mechanism were analyzed with help of SEM.The results show that under anti-wear hydraulic oil lubrication condition, the friction coefficient of the coating is the lowest, which is 0.093;under 30# lubricating oil,Paraffin or MoS2 powder lubrication condition, the friction coefficients are 0.099、0.107 and 0.099,respectively.With the decrease of surface roughness,or with the increase of friction load, the friction coefficient of spraying tin bronze-steel base coating decreases.Under different lubricant conditions, there are abrasive wear, adhesive wear and fatigue wear, and the wear mechanisms are coordinating role.
