Design and study on frame of HY360J articulated dump truck

HY360J articulated dump truck was taken as the study object.Firstly the articulated body was studied by 3D topology optimization method at multiple operation modes based on homogenization method,and the weight of every operation mode was obtained in combination with the blind number theory.And then,the topology optimization of the articulated body was conducted,which provided theoretical basis for determining the topology form of the articulated body.In addition,the finite element model of the frame assembly of the articulated dump truck was built,and the finite element analyses were conducted at five typical operation modes.The results showed that the stress of the frame was uniform at all operation modes,and the structure of the frame was reasonable.
