Germination and development Juçara palm seedlings used differents subtrates.

Due to the risk of extinction of juçara palm heart (Euterpe edulis) in the last decades, the intention is the gathering of information about the cultivation conditions and better ways to produce this species seedling. Its propagation via seeds becomes a determining factor in the production of the plant for its sustainable development. The present work objectives to value the influence of different combinations of substracts in germination and in the development of Juçara palm heart. The experiment was installed in casualized blocks composed of 6 treatments, 4 repetitions with 10 seedlings for section, totalizing 240 seedlings. The valued substracts were: earth, sand, humus, sawdust, carbonized rice shell, and fertile peat in different dimensions. It was observed that for the production of Juçara palm seedlings, the treatments valued using different substracts combinations, had not been significant to the level of 5% for the seedlings index of emergency speed, total height, stern diameter and leaf number on each seedling.
