Stack type backlight assembly, an LCD apparatus using the same and method for assemblying thereof

PURPOSE: A layered backlight assembly is provided to shorten assembling time remarkably and to improve assembling efficiency by layering components of an LCD(Liquid Crystal display) sequentially from a mold frame at the lowest position. CONSTITUTION: A thin reflecting plate(300) is formed at the base of a mold frame(100) as the mold frame is set on the ground. Plural reflecting sheets having the same width and length as the reflecting plate are bonded to both ends of the reflecting plate. A light guide plate(400) is formed on the reflecting plate between the reflecting sheets. Herein, the light guide plate has a smaller area than one of the reflecting plate to accept a lamp assembly(200) at both sides. After that, diffusion sheets(500) are formed on the light guide plate. One of the three-sheet diffusion sheets, directly contacted with the light guide plate has a relatively larger area than the other diffusion sheets. The lamp assembly is assembled in an empty space between both ends of the light guide plate and a sidewall of the mold frame. A couple of fixed frames are installed at the edge of the light guide plate and the sidewall of the mold frame. An LCD panel assembly(800) is set to each guide protrusion of the fixed frames, and a chassis(850) is combined to the LCD panel assembly and the mold frame. Each component of an LCD is assembled sequentially from the mold frame at the bottom.
