MODELLING OF ACTIVE SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS WITH HOLISTIC CHARACTERISTICS

ABSTRACT A novel method is presented which - determines holistic characteristics for active solar energy systems by modeling the system in a detailed manner for some “typical” days - uses these characteristics to determine the collector output, solar fraction, and related values to optimize the system.
