A Framework for Integration of ns-3 with RAMS simulator

RAMS is a low-fidelity discrete-event simulator, created for simulating multiple agents in a single environment. The simulator is designed to be modular and versatile for use in future research of algorithms in the field of robotics and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). A low-fidelity wireless network simulator is already present in RAMS for simulating simple ad-hoc network connectivity between agents. For more accurate testing and simulation of the algorithms, higherfidelity network simulation is required. This paper describes in detail the process of integrating a widely used academic network simulator called ns-3 into the existing framework of RAMS.
