Comparação das Técnicas Spin Eco e Fast Spin Eco nas Lesões Meniscais

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an important tool for diagnosing meniscal injuries. The use of improper techniques may compromise the diagnose. The typical protocols used to diagnose meniscal injury are conventional Spin Eco and Fast Spin Eco. This work compare both techniques using a computational program developed in JAVA. The analyses performed include the comparison of image sharpness, tissue distribution and the determination of the size of the harm obtained with each acquisition technique. The results showed the superiority of conventional Spin Echo techniques for diagnosing meniscal lesion.
