A new approach for stabilizing nonlinear systems with time delay

A new Proportional Parallel Distributed Compensation (PPDC) approach is utilized to stabilize time-delay systems on the basis of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model in this paper. We present new stability conditions for a class of time-delay systems whose dynamics are described by a T-S fuzzy model. The entire PPDC design procedure employing Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) is presented. A numerical example is given to illustrate salient features of the new approach.
