Performance enhancement of IOT based accident detection system by integration of edge detection

Abstract Here examinations of those systems are provided which identifies and control accident. All these systems are derived on the basis of IOT engineering. At present devices which are formed on the basis of IOT engineering shows good performance in various departments like in case of health care department. But above all, it becomes possible to use this engineering concept in the management and stoppage of accident which takes place on roads. All the accident reorganization hardware in which concept of IOT is implemented becomes remotely ccontrollable device. It becomes possible to manage these device through internet or automatically. Here, we also take in to consideration the work which is already done in the field of traffic mmanagement and accident re-organization system. In proposed work the frames have been captured one by one and these graphical frames are preprocessed. After capturing and resizing the frame the accident detection mechanism is applied. If the accident is detected then warning is triggered representing the accident. The objective of research is to minimize the size of frame and reducing the accident detection time. In order to do so the edge detection mechanism has been applied. The proposed model is comparing the frame size and time consumption in accident detection. The canny based edge detection mechanism has eliminated the useless graphical content and made the image light weighted in order to make it more portable and to allow accident pattern detection more rapidly.
