Comparison and Selection of Integral Foam Processes

At the beginning of our discussion, several points must be mentioned. There is, on the one hand, the company that has already had experience with plastic production, and on the other hand, the producer of non-plastic parts or the consumer of plastic (or non-plastic) parts. Plastic companies are almost always interested in the technical aspects of an IF process, and, of course, in cost comparisons with similar parts made from unfoamed or foamed (but non-integral) plastics. Non-plastic producers and consumers are mainly interested in cost comparisons with wood, metal or concrete solutions to their problems 1).
