In this paper, a Vulnerability/Lethality (V/L) analysis process with seven levels is given, and a HLA- based collaborative simulation of V/L analysis is introduced, where the adapter approach method is presented。With the V/L process, the operational process is divided into several sub processes and a construction method for federate member based on the sub process is given. The different sub processes are serial or parallel, and need to be completed by complex weapon subsystem functions. The ability model for sub process is set up, as a core to build a federal member. This method realizes the unification of the V/L analysis process and the simulation realization, which can reduce the difficulty of the V/L analysis based on modeling and simulation.
