Techno-Economic Analysis of Different Lighting Schemes: A Case Study

An optimum lighting design ensures sharp visibility and comfort by considering the light conditions. Further, for optimum utilization of electrical energy, proper care should be taken to avoid overestimation of required illuminance levels. In this paper techno-economic analysis of different lighting schemes viz incandescent lamp, CFL, LED lamp has been done. Further, an efficient arrangement of luminaries for a laboratory is designed in DIALux software.
