Study on Ink Metering Control for Inkjet Printer

We designed color targets with different dot area coverage for compound channel and four single channels,and then output them and get their density.After this,we used polynomial regression method to establish the function relationship between dot area coverage and density.Through data analysis,we set the dot area coverage corresponded the maximum density as the ink metering maximum,and verified the maximum's accuracy with an experiment we designed.In general,we provided a simple and convenient method for study on ink metering control,and the method is useful for our future research on printer linearization and is meaningful for developing linear software with independent intellectual property rights.
