Research on the IPMSM rotor position estimation based on improved high frequency injection method

The discussed high frequency injection scheme utilizes saliency property of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM).A high frequency voltage signal is injected in the stationary frame and the filters are used to analyze high frequency current and to extract rotor position information.In the conventional method,the use of the band pass filter and band stop filter results in serious problems of phase-shifting and amplitude attenuation.As the high pass filters have the ability to completely eliminate a specified frequency,synchronous frame filtering takes the place of the band pass filter and band stop filer in this paper.The simulation study indicates that the method is capable of precisely estimating the rotor position at the low speed and possessing fast dynamic response at the high speed.
