A New Kind of BF Cooling Plant—Copper stave

Copper stave which is developed in recent two decades,a new kind of cooling plant,contributes to long compaign technologies of blast furnace and has been widely used abroad.Compared with old one,it possesses the characteristics of great cooling intensity,which can meet the demands of biggest hot load.The nine years’ practice result with 0～3mm wear thickness indicates that the copper stave can be used for nearly several decades theoretically.
