The effect of prestress losses on the seismic response of prestressed concrete frames

An analytical model for predicting the dynamic response of prestressed concrete frames was presented recently. According to this model, the effect of prestress losses on the seismic response of prestressed concrete frames is studied in this paper. The results indicate that the ductility factor and ductility demand increase with decreasing prestress, and the effect of prestress losses on the seismic response of prestressed concrete frames is significant.
