Vehicle identification based on image/video analysis and manless fare allocation system

PURPOSE: The present invention is to provide a user with a system that recognizes a type of vehicle based on images using a full width and wheel track length of vehicle estimated from the images and performs an unmanned settlement depending on the type of the recognized vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle recognition system based on images comprises a camera (121) which photographs an image for at least one first vehicle, a display unit (151) which displays the photographed image, a user input unit (130) for designating a first region which is at least a portion of entire region of the image displayed in the display unit, and a control unit (180) which detects a license plate region and headlight region of the first vehicle in the first region, estimates a full width and wheel track length of the first vehicle by using the detected license plate region and headlight region and determines whether the type of vehicle is predetermined or not.
